Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is the term for medical products and practices that are not part of standard care. Standard care is what medical doctors, doctors of osteopathy and allied health professionals, such as registered nurses and physical therapists, practice. Alternative medicine means treatments that you use instead of standard ones. Complementary medicine means nonstandard treatments that you use along with standard ones.

Buerger’s Disease- Its Effects and Causes
Buerger’s disease is a disease in which there is clotting as well as inflammation in the arteries and veins of the hands and the feet. Due to this the veins and arteries block further blood supply to the fingers and toes which causes pain, color changes, coldness etc. A person suffering from Buerger’s disease experiences severe pain in the affected parts, especially fingers and toes. The patient is also likely to get affected by other disorders like gangrene and skin ulcerations.
